Palmer Houchins, Marketing Manager -- Home Alone (1990)
This is not just the greatest holiday movie ever made, but also film's best coming of age story and perhaps the greatest comedy of the 1990s. Hollow praise? I think not. Home Alone grapples with childhood apprehension: "I don't want to sleep with Fuller. You know about him, he wets the bed. He'll pee all over me, I know it." Brotherly love: "I wouldn't let you sleep in my room if you were growing on my ass." More brotherly love: "Buzz! Your girlfriend! Woof! " Home Alone wraps the life lessons of love, friends and family into a nice bouquet of booby traps, zip lines, snowshovels, cheese pizza and Daniel Stern. What more could anyone want?
