8. Didgeridoo(Chudigi - $0.99)
I don't think I've ever been more frustrated by a real instrument than when I tried to circular breathe on a didgeridoo. But now I don't have to. This app is almost overly simple—you just touch different parts of the didge and open and close your mouth on the mic, but after my failed attempts in Australia, I'm not complaining.

7. Real Bongos
(Armin Heinrich - $0.99)
This is another fairly simple app—play closer to the top of each drum to increase the volume—but there are few instruments more fun to play than the bongos.

6. FreePiano
(Terajima Joho Kikaku - Free)
There may be better piano apps out there, but none that are cheaper. It comes with "grand" and "toy" modes and two octaves of keys—perfect for playing the theme song to All in the Family.

5. MelodiFone
(Yonac - $0.99)
The MelodiFone lets you really feel like you're making the music by using the iPhone's microphone as a reed for this wind instrument. You actually blow into the phone to play, while holding down the keys and shifting octaves with the arrows.

this really makes me want one of these things now.. I think ima look into one more today.
I like Extra Piano, it is a funny idea to have one more key.
