Five Movies to Get Excited About in 2009

With an impending court date, who knows if this film will actually hit theaters this year. But if I were its maker, I'd breathe a sigh of relief. After all, adapting one of the most important comic books of all time to the silver screen is anything but an enviable task. Some comic-to-film adaptations have been transcendent. Others, downright awful. We shall see which camp Watchmen falls into in the coming months (maybe).
