Today's list is the final installment in a series that has run every Friday for the last seven weeks, in which I've had a great time revisiting and highlighting my favorite lesser-known Beatles tracks.
John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr wrote and recorded such consistently amazing songs that, even if you ignore all their #1 hits and everything on their famous Red and Blue best-of compilations (which I've done for these more obscure Beatles lists), there are still dozens and dozens of amazing songs, some of which you might've missed along the way—even if The Beatles are the biggest, most influential band in rock history.
As you get familiar with (or rediscover) these songs, some of them are sure to surpass your old, more-overplayed favorites.
"I Don't Want to Spoil the Party"Beautiful self-loathing country-tinged sad-bastard music at its best, this Lennon tune from Beatles for Sale could've been written by Buck Owens himself.

Good list. especially if you don't"know" Beatles music, and a lot of people don't!
An amazing find ... ! Great
I'm surprised you did not include "Don't Bother Me'' on this list. Easily one of the coolest musical tracks on "Meet the Beatles'' as that first album was called in the USA.
I'm with El Capitan - "Don't Bother Me" was my fave track on the US debut. I would've also liked John's "Yes It Is" on this list, but it's all good and thanks for the effort.
You should check out the 2003 Beatles-Casbah Coffee Club/Pete Best book - it's boss.
From Magical Mystery tour, Flying and Blue Jay Way. Flying is super cool.
