Misfits - "Astro Zombies"
My guess is that, since President Obama is a pretty smart guy (having graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law), he realizes the serious threat posed to planet Earth by ravenous space zombies who will stop at nothing to destroy the earth. So I'm sure he's been pressing NASA, as part of the Constellation Program, to begin secretly preparing for the type of invasion Misfits singer Glen Danzig describes in this song. Great work, Mr. President. When the astro zombies come, we'll be ready.

Jimi Hendrix - "Third Stone from the Sun"
And if the space zombies don't come, and instead it's more intelligent life, a race of enlightened extra terrestrials who see our polluted war-torn, surf-music-listening planet, and decide it shouldn't be allowed to exist, things will probably sound a lot like this song. At the beginning, if you speed the song up you can hear what those normally indecipherable voices (Jimi Hendrix and manager Chas Chandler) are saying:

Hendrix : Star fleet to scout ship, please give your position. Over.
Chandler : I am in orbit around the third planet of star known as sun. Over.
Hendrix : May this be Earth? Over.
Chandler : Positive. It is known to have some form of intelligent species. Over.
Hendrix : I think we should take a look,(Jimi then makes vocal spaceship noises).

Then at the end, after the scout ship has taken a look and been unimpressed, it sets about to destroying the earth with its giant ray gun. You can hear Jimi say:

Strange beautiful grass of green,
With your majestic silver seas
Your mysterious mountains I wish to see closer
May I land my thinking machine

Although your world wonders me,
With your majestic and superior Catholic hand
Your people I do not understand,
So to you I shall put an end
And you'll
Never hear
Surf music again

And then he simulates the ultimate destruction of our planet with his guitar. 'TiI I heard this song never imagined the end our world sounding so cool.
