Dead Milkmen - "Rocket Ship"
On this ode to skipping town on a spaceship, twee punk rockers Dead Milkmen come off like a slightly more grumpy, sneering version of Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers. "Rocket Ship" even features a countdown to launch.

The Velvet Underground - "Satellite of Love"
An outtake from the Loaded sessions, this song captures Lou Reed's childlike fascination with the moon landing and those little blinking satellites now orbiting the Earth, all in the musical setting of early rock 'n' roll-style love ballad about a man watching a satellite launch on TV while simultaneously being consumed with jealousy over his unfaithful girlfriend.
