If a picture is worth a thousand words, than photographers have an unfair advantage to those of us limited to 140 characters. The photographers listed here don’t just Tweet images, but when they do they’re worth the click. They also Tweet all about photography and link to stories to help aspiring photographers. All rights to all photos I’ve included here belong to the photographers. Here are some of the best photographers on Twitter:

Arias blogs about photograpahy to a quite-devoted following. In August, he put out a Call to Action to photographers to go help some individual or organization that needs pictures.

Based in Nashville, Cowart shoots range from Paste to Britney Spears to the Blood:Water mission in Africa. His Help-Portrait project aims to “a movement of photographers who are using their time, equipment and expertise to give back to those who are less fortunate this holiday season.”
