Five Little Kids Singing Pop Songs

Last night I went to my cousin’s fifth-grade holiday musical, in which the kids performed “Rhythm Nation” and “We Didn’t Start The Fire,” and I’ll tell you what—singing children are awesome. Here are my five favorite videos of munchkins performing pop songs:

5. Kid sings “Hit Me Baby One More Time,” gets embarrassed

This provocative boy was really starting to channel Britney Spears when his mom barged in on the party.

4. Little girl sings unknown song very expressively

I don’t know what she’s singing. But I gather it’s a pop song, and it’s amazing.

3. Two-year-old tries to be like Taylor Swift, succeeds

This tiny little thing replicates Taylor Swift’s performance of “You Belong With Me” from the VMAs, remembers almost every word, and even does a costume change. Did I mention she’s only TWO?

2. Talented three-year-old plays “I’m Yours” on the ukelele

Without pronouncing any words, this little guy manages to sound like a more lovable version of Jason Mraz. I like this about a hundred times better than the original.

1. Cutest boy in the world performs “Hey Jude” in his diaper

Even though he hardly plays the guitar he’s holding, he keeps the beat the whole time by grunting. And then bows at the end!
