30 Record Store Day 2011 Releases Worth Your Dough

What once started as a small celebration of independent record stores, Record Store Day has now turned into a huge annual display of solidarity on behalf of local music shops worldwide. Founded in 2007 by several record store owners, the event now takes place at more than 800 stores across the globe and features countless musicians supporting the cause. In its fourth year, Record Store Day 2011 features more releases than most of us can wrap our heads around. With so many exciting new albums, reissues and rarities coming out this Saturday, we picked 30 of our favorites that we’ll be lining up for.
