All Multi-part Songs, All The Time

One time I was taking a film class in France, and on the first day the teacher asked everyone to tell the class their all-time favorite film. Now, the course was taught in French and I spoke French, but not so well that I knew the names of my favorite movies. Plus, at the time, my favorite movie was probably Hope Floats. So I did what any ignorant American girl would do, and I thought of the first Oscar-winning film I could think of in French: The Godfather. I ‘d never seen The Godfather, so I’m sure you can imagine my surprise when the professor asked me which part…I had no idea there was more than one! So I said something along the lines of “Oh, of course the first,” and it went over well. I thought I’d seen the end of it until a few weeks later, when some classmates invited me to a “Godfather Party,” where they would be watching all three parts of The Godfather…in my honor. Awesome. I reluctantly accepted the invite and left a third of the way through.

So the moral of the story is…don’t lie. And the other moral of the story is…some movies have multiple parts. And so do some songs! Enjoy this two-part list of multi-part songs, and please download two free tracks from Ghost Stories.
