SPONSOR: The Heineken Paste Give A Band A Good Name Sweepstakes
(the ÒSweepstakesÓ) is sponsored by Paste Magazine, 619 E College Ave, Decatur,
GA 30030 (ÒPasteÓ).

HOW TO PLAY: To
enter the Heineken Paste Give
A Band A Good Name Sweepstakes, log on to www.pastemagazine.com/heineken between 12:00:01 a.m. EST on April
22, 2009 and 11:59:59 p.m. EST on July 15, 2009 and complete an Official Entry
Form. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. HST on July 15, 2009 to qualify
for the Sweepstakes. Each entrant will be asked to review each of five (5) songs vying to be chosen as the
Heineken Give a Band A Good Name track on an upcoming Paste Sampler and vote
for one artist or band. Each
month, the artist or band receiving the most votes from qualified entries will
have a song placed on the next Paste Sampler and will be included as a digital
download with the purchase of PASTE magazine. Each month during the contest, ten (10) winners will
be chosen at random to receive a pack of 5 CDs of PasteÕs choice. Winners will be chosen on the first
business day on or after 5/1/2009, 6/1/2009, 7/1/2009 and 8/1/2009. Paste
is not responsible for entries with incomplete information,
incomplete transmission defaults, computer server failure and/or delayed,
garbled, or corrupted data. All entries become the exclusive property of the
Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Proof of entry submission
does not equate to proof of receipt. Limit one (1) entry per person. Limit
one (1) prize per individual, household, e-mail address or street address.
In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder
of the e-mail address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The
Òauthorized account holderÓ is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by
an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization
responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the
submitted address. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being
the authorized account holder. Any attempts by an individual to access the site
via a bot script or other brute-force attack will result in that IP address
becoming ineligible. Sponsor reserves the
right to alter, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes without notice if, in
SponsorÕs sole discretion, the integrity of Sweepstakes becomes compromised in
any way. In the event Sponsor does so, Sponsor shall post notice thereof on the
Sweepstakes Web site. In the event the Sweepstakes is terminated prematurely,
all eligible entries received prior to the Sweepstakes being compromised will
be included in the prize drawing. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be
bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be
final, binding and conclusive on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
3. PRIZES/ODDS: GRAND PRIZE (10):
Ten (10) Grand Prize winners will each receive one (1) pack of 5
CDs of PasteÕs choice. TOTAL
APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV) OF EACH GRAND PRIZE: $74.75; TOTAL ARV OF ALL
GRAND PRIZES: $747.50. No part of any prize includes beer or alcoholic beverages.
Prize is not transferable. No substitutions are permitted except at the sole
discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor makes no warranty with respect to prize and is
not responsible for inability of participant to accept prize. The cash
equivalent of any portion of prize is not permitted, except at SponsorÕs sole
discretion. Sponsor will report value of each prize as required by law. TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES: $747.50. All taxes
are the sole responsibility of the winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
4. DRAWING: Potential winners
will be selected in random drawings to be held first
business day on or after 5/1/2009, 6/1/2009, 7/1/2009 and 8/1/2009 from all
valid entries received. Winners will be contacted by e-mail within one business
day after each drawing at the e-mail address provided. If no contact is made
with a potential winner after two (2) attempts by the Sponsor and waiting 3
days for a response, that prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential
winner will be randomly selected. Fulfillment agent must reach potential winner.
Return of the prizes or any notification
as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate selection. Prize
will be delivered within approximately 4 weeks of verification of eligibility. In the event not enough qualified entries are
received, Paste need not award more prizes than entries received.
5. ELIGIBILITY:
Sweepstakes open only to legal U.S. residents who are 21 years of age or
older. Void
in California, Tennessee, and where prohibited by law. Employees of Paste
Magazine, Heineken USA Inc., and their respective agencies, parent,
subsidiaries, affiliates, vendors, wholesalers or retailers, or members of
their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate.
Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Each prizewinner may be
required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Publicity
Release. If required, documents must be returned within fourteen (14) days of
notification or that prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner
will be randomly selected.
5. RELEASE OF LIABILITY & PUBLICITY:
Each prizewinner consents to the use of his/her name, photograph or likeness
for publicity or advertising purposes without further compensation where
permitted by law. All entrants release Paste Magazine, Heineken USA Inc., and
each of their respective affiliates, parent, subsidiaries, officers, directors,
shareholders, agents, employees and all others associated with the development
and execution of this Sweepstakes from any and all liability with respect to,
or in any way arising from, this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use of any
prize, including liability for property damage or personal injury, damages, death
or monetary loss.
6. WINNERS LIST:
For the names of any of the prize
winners, send a self addressed, stamped envelope to be received by August 1,

Decatur, GA 30031 Winners will be notified by e-mail, telephone, U.S. mail
and/or express mail service.
