We recently looked at the 10 best male cast members of Saturday Night Live. Now it's time to look at the show's funniest women.

10 Best Saturday Night Live Female Cast Members (#6-10)

10. Ana Gasteyer (1996 - 2002)
“Oh, I’m so sorry! If I wasn't such a nice person, I’d think I was a showoff!”
The Groundlings alum was at her best as a talk show hostess, both with her fictional creations like Margaret Jo McCullen of NPR’s Delicious Dish, Gayle Gleeson of Pretty Living or MTV VJ Kinkaid, and impersonating actual TV celebs, Martha Stewart, Joan Rivers or Sally Jesse Raphael.

9. Maya Rudolph (1999 - 2007)
“You crazy bitch!”
The daughter of a Jewish songwriter and an African-American soul singer, Rudolph was a true chameleon on the show, not letting things like race and gender stop her from playing BeyoncĂ© Knowles, Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Lopez, Lucy Liu, Donatella Versace or Lorne Michaels. She was also a back-up singer for The Rentals before joining the show, and lent her considerable vocal talents to sketches like “Gemini Twins” and “Gays In Space.”

8. Victoria Jackson (1986 - 1992)

“I can’t do it anymore. I can’t do this Victoria ‘airhead’ thing anymore.”
It was reciting poetry while doing a handstand on The Tonight Show that helped get the college gymnast her gig at SNL, and she continued the gag during "Weekend Update." She was also Jenny Barton, the Church Lady’s nemesis.

7. Julia Sweeney (1990 - 1994)
“Role reversal! We felt it kept the relationship alive!”
While it might not have been able to carry an entire movie, Sweeney’s “It’s Pat” skits were her high-water mark on the show.

6. Rachel Dratch (1999 - 2006)
“[Feline AIDS] is the number one killer of domestic cats!”
After a stint at Second City, Dratch became one of the longest-running woman on SNL. She's best known as Debby Downer, but also impersonated more than 40 celebrities, including Monica Lewinsky and Elijah Wood.
