We may have lost Michael Jackson earlier this year, but fortunately the zombie music video lives on. Its most recent incarnation (reincarnation?) accompanies “Coffin Factory,” a song off Don’t Throw Me Away, the debut album from San Jose, Calif., six-piece The Mumlers.
The band is currently out on tour:
10/31—Hoboken, NJ, at Maxwell’s
11/3—Brooklyn, NY at Bruar Falls with the Fishermen Three
11/4—Portland, ME at the Space Gallery
11/5—Winooski, VT at the Monkey House with Osage Orange & the Fishermen Three
11/6—Boston, MA at P.A.’s Lounge with the Fishermen Three
11/8—Danbury, CT at the Heirloom Arts Theatre with the Fishermen Three
11/10—Louisville, KY at TBA
11/11—St. Louis, MO at Pop’s Blue Moon
11/12—Chicago, IL at the Beat Kitchen
11/15—Minneapolis, MN at the 400 Bar

I love The Mumlers. One of my favorite discoveries this year. One correction: "Don't Throw Me Away" isn't their debut. Their first album was called "Thickets and Stitches."
