Since May we’ve worked with Aloft Hotels, traveling the U.S. to produce unique live performances of some of our favorite up-and-coming artists. The ongoing 10-date series has featured acts such as Langhorne Slim, Sleeper Agent and Harper Blynn. In celebration of the tour we're releasing a 10-song sampler, which features a song from every artist on the tour. On July 17, The Daredevil Christopher Wright performed an intimate set at Aloft Hotels Milwaukee Downtown location. In the wake of the June release of The Nature of Things, the Wisconsin trio delivered chill-inducing harmonies with hand claps and palpable energy. Young Man

On July 16, Chicago indie rockers Young Man performed an exciting set at Aloft Chicago O'Hare. The band is fronted by songwriter Colin Caulfield and released their latest record, Vol. 1, earlier this year. During their show, Young Man played numerous songs off this album, which marks Caulfield's first with a fully fleshed-out group--his previously solo bedroom project is a whopping quintet. Wild Cub

On July 19, singer/songwriter Keegan Dewitt and multi-instumentalist Jeremy Bullock gave fans a taste of their newly formed project, Wild Cub, at Aloft Nashville Cool Springs. The Nashville-based group, whose music has been described as "infectious, intricate electro-pop" that blends '80s beats with electronics and synths, released their full-length debut, Youth this earlier month. Harper Blynn

On June 10, Harper Blynn performed an engaging set at Aloft Washington National Harbor. The New York indie-rock group, featuring the longstanding collaboration between Pete Harper and J. Blynn, showcased numerous songs off their latest album, Busy Hands. The band, which is known for its pop sensibilities, lived up to their reputation during the performance, exhibiting their cohesive songwriting, commendable harmonies and dynamic drumming. Strand of Oaks

On June 9, Strand of Oaks played an intimate show at the Aloft Philadelphia Airport. The Pennsylvanian group, featuring songwriter Timothy Showalter, recently unveiled their latest record, Dark Shores, which is an "elegant and melodious dystopian album that navigates gracefully away from clunky doom or preachy drivel," according to Paste's recent review. Later this summer and fall, Showalter plans to tour alongside the Tallest Man on Earth and Bowerbirds for a string of opening dates. Langhorne Slim

On June 12, Pennsylvanian folk rocker Langhorne Slim performed a special, stripped-down concert at the Aloft Chapel Hill in North Carolina. Slim has been touring steadily with his band, the Law, for the past couple of years alongside the likes of the Avett Brothers and Josh Ritter. After releasing his latest full-length effort, The Way We Move, the dynamic singer/songwriter embarked on a summer tour. Slim showcased his knack for storytelling during his summer string of dates, particularly at his Aloft show. On June 14, singer/songwriter Dar Williams played an impressive hourlong set live at Aloft's North Charleston, S.C., location. Williams, who recently released her ninth studio record, In The Time Of Gods, showcased several new numbers during her show. In between songs, the New York songwriter elaborated on the stories behind her work, which range from social activism to Greek mythology. Cheyenne Marie Mize

On June 13, Louisville's Cheyenne Marie Mize brought a stripped-down take on songs from her latest album, this year's We Don't Need EP, to Aloft Hotel's Charlotte, N.C., location. Mize, who's collaborated with Bonnie "Prince" Billy, filled the room with inspired, carefully crafted tunes--all led by her powerful voice. Hey Rosetta!

Canadian indie-pop group Hey Rosetta! performed an intimate set on on May 17 at the Aloft Tallahassee Downtown. The band--originally from the St. John's, Newfoundland--featured songs from their sophomore album, Seeds, during their hourlong acoustic set. Compromised of Tim Baker, Adam Hogan, Phil Maloney, Josh Ward, Kinley Dowling and Rishi Thavanathanski, the group stripped down to a foursome for this one-off show before heading out to Hangout Music Fest. Sleeper Agent

Kentucky rockers Sleeper Agent showcased their infectious exuberance at the Aloft Birmingham Soho Square on May 20. Traveling back from Hangout Music Fest, the band performed an acoustic performance that exhibited their knack for catchy songwriting. Typically boasting six members and a raucous electric sound, Sleeper Agent stripped down to a trio featuring members Alex Kandel, Tony Smith and Josh Martin--who performed a number of reworked originals off their debut album Celabrasion. In addition, the group also performed a handful of impressive covers, including songs from notable indie-rock artists such as The xx and Girls.
