Paste Magazine teams up with Stereogum, XM Radio, WXPN, DELL Lounge and others to expand presence at this year’s SXSW
Decatur, GA (March 7, 2008) -- Paste magazine (www.pastemagazine.com), called “the best among American music titles” by The Wall Street Journal, announced an expanded and star-studded lineup of events for this year’s South by Southwest Festival in Austin, TX. Most notably, Paste will be joining forces with leading music blog Stereogum.com for three very special events. And in an effort to bring the joys of SXSW to the masses, many of the Paste-related performances will be available online and over the airwaves.
“Over the last year Paste has grown in every way imaginable: frequency, circulation, staff—we’ve even grown in terms of industry recognition—so it only makes sense to increase our footprint at SXSW,” explained Publisher Nick Purdy. “In years past, we had one major event, but this year we’re doing at least one event a day. Best of all, we’ve teamed up with some creative partners who will help us distribute these great performances far beyond the confines of SXSW.”
