Folio Magazine Selects Paste’s President for
the Folio 40
Tim Regan-Porter named one of the most influential in Print Media
Folio Magazine has selected Paste Media Group President Tim Regan-Porter as one of its 2009 “Folio 40.”
The “Folio 40” is an annual list of magazine industry influencers and innovators. Folio: chose
Regan-Porter for his role in numerous innovative, multi-faceted initiatives that set Paste apart.
With print media being affected by the suffering economy, publications
have to dig deep to keep their companies moving. Ideas like
pay-what-you-want subscriptions, Paste Digital VIP and the runaway
viral web hit Obamicon.me have created additional readers, web traffic
and buzz around Paste.
“Magazines in general are not valuing print as much as they should.” He adds: “But we know that you can’t survive if all you do is print, it’s not even fully serving readers if you just focus on
print,” he told Folio.
Regan-Porter helped launch Paste magazine 7 years ago and has played a role in all the outlets Paste
has to offer. Regan-Porter has played a huge role in helping make Paste
Media one of the most innovative independent media brands in the U.S.

year in a row, Paste provides thoughtful analysis on the best in film,
books and other aspects of popular (and alternative) culture. Paste is
