So, while the rest of the media world chirps over John McCain's selection of Sarah Palin as his VP selection, I think we are missing a crucial connection that concerns these candidates eerie similiarities to two Battlestar Galactica characters.

With the end of Battlestar Galactica finally in sight, the SciFi Channel is putting out a variety of spin-offs to capitalize on its success. Not only is there the upcoming Caprica pilot, but following on the success of Razor between seasons three and four it looks like the network is planning on another flashback movie (AKA: special). Since SciFi doesn't own the film rights to Galactica, the films have to be shown on television before being released on DVD.
