Watch Clips From Kanye West’s Unaired Comedy Central Show
Alligator Boots was an unaired Comedy Central show that looks a lot like an adult version of the Muppet Show. While the show never quite made it past its pilot episode, it was produced by a not-quite-as-big Kanye West (it looks like it’s around the era of The College Dropout), who hosted the pilot episode. It was created with a little help from the guys that did Crank Yankers, and it shows in the puppets’ design. Comedy Central has greenlit Sports Show with Norm MacDonald, in which the former Saturday Night Live star will humorously cover real-life sports stories. Unlike The Onion’s SportsDome, which invents sports stories, MacDonald will cover actual news in front of a live, studio audience in much the same way as The Daily Show and Colbert Report. Comedy Central has ordered eight episodes, the first of which will premiere in April. Production begins this month.... read more
