“Tweeeday,” as veteran soul singer Mavis Staples calls him, has been on a roll the past few months. The Wilco lead singer has gone viral recently from announcing the weather on local Chicago television station WGN-TV and covering The Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” and “My Humps” at Dan Sinker’s book release party. Wilco recently visited their hometown news station WGN-TV in Chicago. The band performed “Dawned on Me” and “Whole Love” off of their eighth and latest album, this past September’s The Whole Love. The studio appearance would have been awesome enough by itself, but frontman Jeff Tweedy took it up a notch by stumbling out to give a hilariously deadpan and to-the-point weather forecast as “Supplemental Hair” to the Mr. Clean-esque regular forecaster, Paul Konrad.
