Peyroux Fights Homelessness On Fall US Tour

Madeleine Peyroux is doing more on her fall 2006 tour than wowing audiences with her blues-tinged jazz vocals. On the road since September to promote her third solo album, Half the Perfect World, Peyroux has contributed a dollar for every ticket sold per show to a local charity in each town she’s performed in. In collaboration with the National Coalition for the Homeless, the proceeds have all gone to organizations that pledge to combat homelessness.
