The National to Curate, Headline All Tomorrow's Parties
The All Tomorrow’s Parties festival confirmed today that the National would curate and headline the festival next December. The line up, as tweeted by the festival, is set to include Sharon Van Etten, Kronos Quartet, The Antlers, Wye Oak, My Brightest Diamond, Lower Dens, Owen Pallett, Boris, Tim Hecker, Suuns, Megafaun, Dark Dark Dark, and Buke and Gase. read more

Even though it has been over a year since The National's last full-length album, High Violet, but the group has stayed plenty busy in 2011. In March, they released the song "Think You Can Wait" for the film _Win Win_, and a month later they put out "Exile Vilify" for the video game "Portal 2".
