Update: Despite the rumors that Timbaland and Missy Elliott will be involved in the forthcoming posthumous Aaliyah album, it appears neither has been contacted about it. Elliot’s manager Mona Scott-Young told Billboard, “Although Missy and Timbaland always strive to keep the memory of their close friend alive, we have not been contacted about the project nor are there any plans at this time to participate.
