Update: It seems Anchorman 2 might be a no-go after all. Would-be director Adam McKay tweeted the following about an hour ago: “So bummed. Paramount basically passed on Anchorman 2. Even after we cut our budget down. We tried.” A few hours later, he followed up with this: “To all who asked: no we can’t do Anchorman 2 at another studio.
