To commemorate World AIDS Day on December 1, Annie Lennox released the latest single from her October release, Songs of Mass Destruction. The proceeds from “Sing," a female empowerment song dedicated to HIV-positive mothers, will benefit Nelson Mandela's Treatment Action Campaign in South Africa. Joining Lennox on the recording are two dozen international female musicians ranging from Martha Wainwright and Beth Orton to Celine Dion, Madonna, Pink and Fergie. Thursday, the former Eurythmics singer established a YouTube portal for the "Sing Global Choir," in which people around the world can submit video or audio recordings of themselves singing “Sing."
