The Walkmen to tour West Coast in January

NYC indie rockers The Walkmen have announced a January tour in support of You & Me. The band recently took about a month off, after a brief circuit of the UK and Ireland, and will travel the West Coast mid-next month. Performances begin in San Diego and work their way north, to the tour's culmination in Seattle. Beach House will join the crew for all five dates....  read more

Beach House releases new video, preps for tour

We haven't seen such creative use of a church, confetti, crutches, a fish and dissolves since, well, ever. Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand of Beach House hop and sway their way through their newest video for "You Came to Me," the first from their upcoming sophomore album Devotion (Feb. 26). The video, directed by Baltimore's Skizz Cyzyk, features the duo shrouded in as much (if not more) darkness as Queen in "Bohemian Rhapsody." Beach House releases free mp3, tour dates

Dreamy lo-fi duo Beach House has released "Gila" as a teaser mp3 from the forthcoming album, Devotion (Feb. 26). After joining Grizzly Bear's exhausting tour schedule this year, the band will share a few ticket stubs of its own with bird of a feather Papercuts. They'll hit the snowy trails (and later shake Southwestern sand out of their shoes) for a nationwide tour soon after Beach House's sophomore album hits stores.
