Bloodshot Records to Release First-Ever DVD

Bloodshot Records has announced its first-ever DVD release, Bloodied But Unbowed: Bloodshot Records’ Life in the Trenches , which chronicles its 12 years of recording and releasing independent music. The disc features 31 videos and live performances from the likes of Ryan Adams, Old 97s, Detroit Cobras, Alejandro Escovedo, Waco Brothers, Deadstring Brothers, Bobby Bare Jr., and many more. There are also eight short films and documentaries, ranging from humorous to contemplative. Bloodshot Records 10th Anniversary at the Opry

In addition to a September anniversary show in Chicago, Bloodshot Records is hosting a 10th anniversary show at the Opry Plaza in Nashville, Tenn., on Friday July 30. The show is part of a free concert series this summer at Opryland Plaza. On the bill are Paul Burch and the WPA Ballclub, The Pine Valley Cosmonauts and The Waco Brothers.
