While we were all scrambling to do a little last-minute shopping on Dec. 24, Cat Power’s Chan Marshall gave us another gift—a reworked version of her song “King Rides By.” The new version of the song, which initially appeared on 1996’s What Would the Community Think, is available as a charity download on the singer’s website. Proceeds benefit The Festival of Children Foundation and The Ali Forney Center. The video features boxer Manny Pacquiao and was directed by actor Giovanni Ribisi. Marshall also recently announced she’s working on a new album; in the meantime, check out the video below....  read more
