Sure, the Decemberists have released at least one album and/or EP every year since 2001’s 5 Songs EP, but that doesn’t mean members of the group don’t have time to work on solo projects, too. According to an article on PitchforkMedia.com, guitarist Chris Funk's project, Flash Hawk Parlor Ensemble, will release Plastic Bag in the Tree on May 15 on Hush Records. The Decemberists were previously housed on Hush as well. The album features originals as well as covers of songs by Radiohead, Fleetwood Mac, Massive Attack and the Pretenders. Funky.
