The Office‘s fictional Dunder Mifflin paper supply company became a little more real in 2011 when Quill.com signed a licensing agreement with NBCUniversal and began offering the brand’s office products. While everyone’s eyes were glued to the Super Bowl and its commercials last night, Scranton, Pa. viewers got to see the company’s first-ever commercial. Beach House Responds to Car Commercial Controversy

Indie rock outfit Beach House has posted an informal statement in response to the public outcry over a British Volkswagen advertisement that used music eerily similar to their song “Take Care.” The tune in question, “Stories and Whispers,” was supposedly created by the London-based composition team known as Sniffy Dog, although Beach House’s original appeared on their 2010 album Teen Dream....  read more
