The actress will play the best friend of Banks’ high-strung news anchor character who has to make her way across town for an important job interview following a drunken one-night stand that left her without a phone, money or car. TVLine reports that Pierce Hawthorne is one of several characters whose ultimate fate will be part of the season four finale cliffhanger.
