Craig Finn Announces Clear Heart Full Eyes Release

The Hold Steady frontman, Craig Finn, will release his first solo album on Jan. 24 on Vagrant Records. The album, 'Clear Heart Full Eyes,' came about when Finn started writing a song every day in his Brooklyn apartment. The songs weren’t exactly in The Hold Steady’s realm, which is something Finn acknowledges in a press release.  read more

Craig Finn, frontman of Brooklyn bar-rockers The Hold Steady, is in Austin working on a solo project with producer Mike McCarthy. To document his progress, Finn has established a Tumblr account. So far it’s mostly photos of guitars, pianos and beer. Fans of Finn’s main enterprise shouldn’t fear, however.
