Saoirse Ronan Signs On to Be Joe Wright's Teenage Assassin

Saiorse Ronan ruined her sister’s life in her breakout role as a young Briony Tallis in 2007’s Atonement, and her next project will see the angel-faced actress cast as a cold-blooded teenage assassin. Ronan (her first name is pronounced SEER-shuh) is in negotiations to star in Hanna according the Hollywood Reporter, which would reunite her with Atonement director Joe Wright. They dubbed themselves purveyors of “jailbait rock”—due to their ages—and featured future music icons Joan Jett, Lita Ford and Micki Steele (The Bangles).
