Watch the Trailer for James Franco-Directed As I Lay Dying

The trailer makes it unclear as to how to film adaptation will tackle the book’s unique structure, which has several different characters narrating the story at different points. What it does do, however, is highlight some of the film’s intense dramatic moments. read more

Seth Rogen’s directorial debut and apocalypse comedy, This is the End, will hit theaters next summer, and the first teaser trailer has premiered just in time for the actual apocalypse. The storyline is very similar to what’s been rumored to play out tonight: an end-of-the-world party hosted by James Franco gets interrupted by the actual apocalypse. Eastbound & Down Review: "Chapter 20" (Episode 3.07)

Danny McBride has recently hedged a little bit about whether or not this is the last season of Eastbound & Down. Eastbound & Down Review: "Chapter 16" (Episode 3.03)

Eastbound & Down Review: "Chapter 16" (Episode 3.03)

It made it clear that Eastbound wouldn’t flinch in showing just how sordid Kenny’s life can get, while proving that it could be disturbing and hilarious at the same time.... read more

Eastbound & Down Review: "Chapter 15" (Episode 3.02)

Eastbound & Down Review: "Chapter 15" (Episode 3.02)

Two memorable characters return in tonight’s Eastbound & Down. One of them, Stevie Janowski (Steve Little), is absolutely crucial to the show, as much as anybody who isn’t Danny McBride could be. The other, Ashley Schaeffer (Will Ferrell), can be a point of contention among fans. Is Will Ferrell’s flamboyant car dealer a necessary foil to Kenny Powers, a rival who’s even more arrogant and horrible than Powers, thus making our hero slightly more likable in comparison? Or is he an over-the-top cartoon that turns Eastbound into a bad comedy sketch whenever he appears?... read more
