The American film adaptation of Swedish author Stieg Larsson's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is set to release a week from today on December 21. Given the massive success of the entirety of the late author's Millenium trilogy, which already spawned a trilogy of Swedish films all released in 2009 and is set to see th e same full treatment stateside, it comes as little surprise that DC Comics has acquired the rights to a six-part graphic novel series based on Larsson's novels. read more
