Someone remind me again why Blondie needed so many dudes in it. There were like five of those guys at one point, all bland and interchangeable, playing backup to the real star of the show: Debbie Harry, radiant new wave vision. Now performing as the more distinguished-sounding "Deborah" (she is in her sixties, after all), Harry will take to the road in November in support of Necessary Evil, which just dropped this past Tuesday. One can only hope that Deborah Harry's upcoming album, Necessary Evil, does not receive any very angry reviews, because of course, they could be wittily titled “Un-Necessary Evil.” Come on, can't you just see that happening? Uncreative writers aside... Once Debbie, now Deborah, always cool, Harry has been an icon for decades, and on Oct. 9, you’ll be able to see whether her new album lives up to her reputation.
