Ben Gibbard and Peter Buck have gifted fans with a rendition of an R.E.M. tune before, but the pair stepped it up a notch when they added Decemberists’ Collin Meloy and performed “You Are The Everything” at a recent concert. Meloy tweeted this video of the performance, saying “Here’s me, @gibbstack and Peter Buck doing You Are The Everything while my 14-year-old self FREAKS THE FUCK OUT.” Sounds like his 14-year-old self has the right idea.
