DJ Drama & DJ Don Cannon arrested in RIAA raid

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) raided the offices of Aphilliates Music Group and Gangsta Grillz Studio Tuesday afternoon, according to an article on allhiphop.com. Tyree “DJ Drama” Simmons and Donald Cannon, or DJ Don Cannon, the group’s most high profile DJ’s, were arrested—17 other employees were detained for questioning and nearly 50,000 CDs were seized. DJ Drama and DJ Don Cannon are both known for their mixtape series, as well as DJing for the likes of T.I. and Lil’ Scrappy.
