It should come as no surprise that the '80s are chic again, what with the revival of suspenders, gravity-defying hairdos, and a surge in popularity of the music of the "Me Decade." Duran Duran sure knows how to launch an album. Even if you're not a fan of the group's infectious pop and (now aging) good looks, its hard to deny its media savvy. Duran Duran to Release First New Album in 19 Years

Duran Duran is set to release its first new studio album in 19 years this October. The group's original members (Simon LeBon, Andy Taylor, John Taylor, Roger Taylor and Nick Rhodes) have not recorded together since 1983's Seven & the Ragged Tiger. The as-yet-untitled record will feature a one-hour bonus DVD including live footage shot over two nights at London's Wembley Arena this spring and behind-the-scenes video. Duran Duran, who wrapped up 2003 with an Australian tour, has announced a new U.S. concert date—the NFL Tailgate Party at Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston, TX, this Sunday, Feb. 1. The show, which will take place at the Reliant Center, will follow the Friday's sold-out performance at San Antonio’s Laurie Auditorium.
