NYC photographer to exhibit punk, post-punk work

In the same year of Elvis Presley’s demise (three decades ago this week), New York City photographer Eugene Merinov – 25 at the time – began documenting his hometown's punk (and later, post-punk) apex. From Sept. 19 to Dec. 12 at NYC's Etherea Records, Merinov will exhibit his late '70s/early '80s rock photography, featuring great black and white shots of Gang of Four, Bauhaus, the Ramones and Wire.
