Phish Revives Tradition With Festival 8

Phish fans have had plenty to be excited about this year. Since the beloved jam quartet reunited in March, they released the track "Time Turns Elastic" in May and announced the July 28 release of a studio album recorded with Steve Lillywhite. Recent news regarding Beastie Boy Adam Yauch's cancerous tumor has left Yauch's bandmates, fans and fellow musicians shaken. The trio was forced to delay the release of its forthcoming album, Hot Sauce Committee, and cancel its upcoming tour dates. Among these dates was a headlining slot at this year's Lollapalooza.
