Since the beloved jam quartet reunited in March, they released the track "Time Turns Elastic" in May and announced the July 28 release of a studio album recorded with Steve Lillywhite. When we first heard who was slated to take the stage at this year's All Points West Festival, we were pretty impressed. But when we heard that Jay-Z would be filling in for the Beastie Boys after the trio was forced to cancel all its tour dates, we got even more excited. Recent news regarding Beastie Boy Adam Yauch's cancerous tumor has left Yauch's bandmates, fans and fellow musicians shaken. The trio was forced to delay the release of its forthcoming album, Hot Sauce Committee, and cancel its upcoming tour dates. Among these dates was a headlining slot at this year's Lollapalooza.
