According to NewsOK.com, the website of Oklahoma City newspaper The Oklahoman, everyone’s favorite psychedelic hipsters, The Flaming Lips, might have their own landmark, albeit a small one, with Flaming Lips Alley. Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett has taken the initiative to name three streets after the city’s most recognized musicians, including country vocalist Vince Gill and 1930s jazz musician Charlie Christian.
