Galactic announces fall tour
Galactic has been laying the funk on thick for years now. Basically, if your booty don’t shake to the New Orleans band's grooves, check your pulse and call an ambulance. Drummer Stanton Moore holds it down like few can, and the group’s new album From the Corner to the Block might be its most vibrant work yet. Aided by special guests Lyrics Born, Blackalicious, and Juvenile (among others), the record is a rich work of post-Katrina NoLa music (and an arm-rattling good time, too).
