Gorillaz, the animated sapien super group from the imaginations of Damon Albarn, Dan Nakamura, Jamie Hewlett and Miho Hatori, is set to release a slew of new promotional merchandise as part of their Demon Days multimedia experience, which began with their 2005 sophomore album of the same name. Gorillaz five-night tribute extravaganza sold out

In what is possibly the first set of shows organized in tribute to a cartoon band, Gorillaz: Demon Days Live will be held at the Manchester Opera House from Nov. 1 through Nov. 5. The event, which is the first of the Manchester International Festival, sold out within hours of going on sale this past Monday.
