Green Day Debuts Winehouse Tribute Song

During their show last week in California, Green Day not only premiered new music, but also played a tribute song for Amy Winehouse simply titled, “Amy.” The track is stripped down and the lyrics are presented as a letter to Winehouse herself. Billie Joe Armstrong cries out the sincere chorus, “Amy don't you go / I want you around / Singin' woah please don't go / Do you wanna be a friend of mine?”   read more
