Here We Go Magic are well practiced in the art of music progression. Founder Luke Temple initially founded the band as a solo project, but fleshed out his sounds between his self-titled debut LP and last year's understated follow-up "Pigeons". The difference between the two records is one particularly marked by the group's evolution as Temple turned the outfit into a more collaborative effort. Looking back to our review of last year's record, our description of it as "Luke Temple's atmospheric folk takes flight" still rings true upon revisiting the album. read more
