Jared Leto Returns to Acting in Dallas Buyers Club

In recent years, Jared Leto has taken a break from acting to focus on his band, 30 Seconds to Mars. It appears he’s caught the acting bug again as Entertainment Weekly reports that Leto will play a cross-dressing AIDS patient in the feature film Dallas Buyers Club. The drama, directed by Jean-Marc Vallée (The Young Victoria), tells the real-life story of Ron Woodruff (Matthew McConaughey), a drug-addicted electrician who contracts AIDS in the 1980s and smuggles the medicine necessary to combat the disease for himself, as well as his fellow patients including Leto.
