Shonna Tucker Leaves Drive-By Truckers

The Drive-By Truckers announced today that long-time bassist Shonna Tucker would be leaving the band. In a statement, DBT frontman Patterson Hood said that the band would continue without Tucker. This comes after the 2007 departure of guitarist Jason Isbell, who was formerly married to Tucker.   read more

Jason Isbell Shares North American Tour Dates, New Single

Soon after releasing their forthcoming record Here We Rest, Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit will embark on a hearty two-month tour throughout the U.S. and Canada. The tour will kick off in Murrells Inlet, S.C. on May 12 and will wrap up in San Diego, Calif. on June 20. Here We Rest arrives in stores on April 12 courtesy of Lightning Rod Records. As Shovels and Rope prepare the follow-up to 2008 self-titled effort, the folk duo of Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent will soon head out on a three-plus month tour throughout the U.S. and Canada. The South Carolina group plays a combination of songs written as Shovels and Ropes as well as their own solo work on tour.
