Former Sunny Day Real Estate frontman Jeremy Enigk will join Cursive for a fall tour, as well as headlining a tour in support of his newly released album, World Waits. Enigk co-produced the album with Josh Myers, who has arranged strings for artists ranging from indie songwriter Rosie Thomas to pop singer Mandy Moore. Jeremy Enigk, former frontman for Sunny Day Real Estate and The Fire Theft, is nearing completion on his new solo effort, a follow-up to 1996’s critically acclaimed Return of the Frog Queen. The still-untitled album will be released this summer on Enigk’s own imprint, Lewis Hollow Records. The album was reportedly recorded in several home studios around the country with Josh Myers co-producing. Enigk will make an appearance at Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 4.
