Jesu issues new EP, traverses the globe

Justin Broadrick was once the man behind metal/industrial bands like Napalm Death and Godflesh, a pair of acts with abrasive, confrontational sounds to match their names. That decidedly atonal past makes his new project Jesu all the more remarkable: a longtime rejector of melody, Broadrick must have had a conversion experience at some point between his retirement of Godflesh and the miraculous rise of Jesu.
