Watch Jim Carrey Cover "Creep"and "Bullet with Butterfly Wings"

Jim Carrey is determined not to fade away. Between his recent lead performance in I Love You Philip Morris, videotaped proclamation of his love for Emma Stone and often controversial Twitter activity, the 49-year-old actor has made sure he stays in the public eye. But it seems he’s still not satisfied: On Friday night Carrey showed up at Arlene’s Grocery in Manhattan, hopped on stage and led the house band, Arlene’s World Famous Live Rock ‘n’ Roll Karaoke Band, through a three-song set of nostalgic covers. Two of the three choices were classic ‘90s songs, a theme that meshes well...  read more

Paul Giamatti in for Three Stooges Movie, Jim Carrey Out

Admittedly, we've already allotted a good bit of digital ink to a film that remains stunted in the pre-production stage (10 years and counting?), but it's not just The Three Stooges we're talking about here. It is the Farrelly Brothers' Three Stooges, and their casting process looks as chaotic as, well, a true Stooges film should be. ...  read more

Sean Penn, Jim Carrey, Benicio Del Toro cast as Stooges

image not available

That the Farrelly Brothers and MGM are planning on using Jim Carrey and Benecio Del Toro for their upcoming Three Stooges feature shouldn't be a huge surprise. Del Toro’s a highly physical actor, making him a perfect fit for their vein of comedy, while Carrey’s face is made out of silly putty, making him a great fit both this film and perhaps a live-action Tex Avery flick as well. Alongside this, though, they announced that the one confirmed member of the cast is none other than Sean Penn as Larry. Go ahead, cue the music. ...  read more
